Dating back to a post-World War II era, a pioneer by the name of Mary Posnanski, full of entrepreneurial spirit, saw a need and opportunity in an economy with a housing shortage. She purchased one of her first properties in the late 1940’s, a 6-family home. Quickly filing the vacant units, she divided them in half to accommodate the growing housing need. During this ear in Milwaukee’s northwest side there was plenty of vacant land. The city was still developing and hence came Mary’s vision for new construction opportunities in the booming housing market. During this time larger down payments were common but not always attainable for a buyer. Mary found a solution, take the buyers previous home in trade as part of the purchase in building a new house. At the height of Mary’s business she had acquired nearly 350 rental units and had built over 100 homes.

In 1970 Mary’s business became much too large for 1 person to handle so her son, Michael Posnanski, left San Francisco and a job with United Airlines to move back to Milwaukee with his wife to help run the business.

In 1989 Michael became a licensed Real – Estate agent moving away from the early roots and began focusing on Residential and Real-Estate investment sales. Bradley Realty was officially registered and developed into what it is today with a 3rdgeneration, Brad Posnanski in 1999.
